Hi! I’m Sarah, creator of a college girl

A College Girl was launched in 2017 as an open space for everyone, from the high school student about to enter college to the seasoned University veteran. The purpose of this blog is to help young women prepare and succeed in college, create their own personal style, and live a healthy lifestyle.

If you want to become a successful college student and have the best four years of your life, then you’ll feel right at home here at A College Girl! Every week you’ll get college tips, style inspiration, and health & fitness advice.

So why should you listen to me? Because I am a college girl.

I’m a junior at a liberal arts college in Portland, Oregon. These last few years I have learned the ins and outs of finding success in college. There are plenty of stories to be shared and found over on the blog.

……

A defining moment in my college experience was taking a class called Argumentation and Social Justice. Within this class we had a mentorship program where we helped high school seniors find colleges to apply to, write stellar application essays, and work towards winning scholarships. I learned so much about working with others and the mentorship process. There’s no better feeling than finding out that one our your students got into their dream school, and with a amazing financial aid package.

This experience got me thinking, how can I help other students get into their dream schools?

Then it dawned on me, acollegegirl.com is the perfect outlet for me to connect with people like you who are about to enter the whirlwind of college applications and don’t know where to begin.

There is where the college mentorship program comes into place. Let’s work together to get you on the right track for getting into your dream university. There is more information about this program right here!
